丹波焼一輪挿し花瓶鎬象嵌（しのぎぞうがん）

素地の一部を縦に削り取り、再び素地を埋め込むことで幾何学模様を創り出す、オリジナルの技法「鎬象嵌(しのぎぞうがん)」を用いて制作したものです。
丹波焼の伝統技法の鎬（しのぎ）から着想を得たこの「鎬象嵌」は、象嵌を施した素地に白の化粧土をかけて素焼きをした後、黒の化粧土を筆で全体に塗り更に拭き取るという、通常の何倍もの時間と工程を経て生み出されます。土の温かみとスタイリッシュさが共存した作品です。そのままでインテリアとして置いたり、花々を挿しても素敵です。
